Gardaí arrested a Dublin man shortly after 11.30pm on Sunday night and he was then detained at Finglas Garda station under the provisions of section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Today the defendant, Keith Wilson (aged 22) of Cremona Road, in Ballyfermot, was brought before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court.

Gda-Sgt Brady said the defendant replied “no comment” after caution.
Defence solicitor Tracy Horan applied for legal aid to be granted to her client, whom the court was told was unemployed.
The accused, who had his arms folded and remained silent during the brief proceedings, was granted legal aid and remanded in custody.
