A defamation case taken by Cork man Wayne O'Donoghue over certain media outlets' coverage of his trial and conviction for the killing of Robert Holohan is set to begin today.

O'Donoghue, 19 at the time, was convicted in January 2005 of the manslaughter of 11-year-old Robert in Cork.
