Landlords providing substandard accommodation, says Threshold

Housing organisation Threshold is today calling for a Government crackdown on landlords who provide substandard accommodation to tenants on the rent supplement scheme.

According to its annual report, renters are now facing increased problems with poor standards in accommodation, along with illegal evictions and having their deposits withheld.
