Flood warning in coastal areas

A weather warning of flood risk in coastal areas remains in place this morning.

However, Met Éireann says the worst of the weather appears to be over.

Heavy rain and high winds have battered the country overnight. Motorists are being urged to take care on the roads this morning.

Localised flooding, surface water and fallen leaves have made some roads treacherous.
