Dublin researchers make diabetes breakthrough

Researchers in Dublin have made a breakthrough in the battle against diabetes.

The team from the Royal College of Surgeons and the Mater hospital has identified a cell which produces insulin and releases a regenerative boost to its neighbours to stimulate their growth when it dies.
