No decision yet in trial of man accused of raping daughter

A jury in the Central Criminal Court trial of Sligo man accused of raping and sexually assaulting his teenage daughter has been sent home for the weekend after failing to reach a verdict.

The 46-year-old man, who can not be named for legal reasons, has pleaded not guilty to one count of rape and four counts of sexual assault on dates between September 2005 and June 2006.
