Teachers' union demands remaining education budget be spent

The General Secretary of the Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO) said that her members are dismayed that almost half of the 2010 budget for building schools and classrooms has yet to be spent.

New figures from the Department of Education show that €331m of its budget for capital projects has yet to be spent.
