Further arrest in connection with Louth shooting
Three people were being questioned today over the murder of a young man on a housing estate at the weekend.
Stephen Hanaphy, 20, of Cromcastle Court, Coolock, was killed after travelling with a group of men to Ardee, Co Louth, where a break-in took place.
He suffered a single gunshot wound just above his heart after fleeing the scene.
A Garda spokesman said a man aged 30 was arrested in Ardee early this morning.
He was being detained at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
A 21-year-old and a 55-year-old arrested on Monday remained in custody, while a 26-year-old man arrested yesterday has been released.
