Finance Minister Brian Lenihan today said files on alleged wrongdoing in the banking system are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Minister Lenihan's comments came after Fine Gael's Leo Varadkar called for bankers to be jailed in order for confidence to be restored in the country at home and internationally.
