Taoiseach in Brussels for EU summit on Budgets

The Taoiseach is attending an EU summit in Brussels today where heads of government are expected to approve plans to impose sanctions on member states who violate budget limits.

Member states will also discuss a pact, reached independently by France and Germany, to amend the Lisbon Treaty.
