Priest on trial for alleged abuse

A former priest has gone on trial charged with sexually abusing a boy in the presbytery of a Dublin church around 30 years ago.

The accused, who cannot be named by court order, has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of indecent assault and a further six counts of buggery on dates between 1979 and 1983.
