A man shot in Dublin earlier this week has died in hospital

Thirty-year-old Robert Ryle was shot a number of times at Foxdene Park in Clondalkin on Sunday night, but was pronounced dead in Tallaght hospital this morning.

Gardaí in Ronanstown are appealing for anyone with information on the shooting to come forward.

"Investigating Gardai are renewing their appeal for information and in particular wish to speak with anyone who was in the Balgaddy and Foxdene areas between 7pm and 9pm on the evening of Sunday October 24 2010," a statement said.
