Six cars recovered in garda raid

Three men are in custody following a Garda operation in North Dublin.

Six stolen cars were recovered in the raid.

As part of a planned operation gardaí yesterday afternoon searched a premises at Westbrook Park in Balbriggan.

There they discovered six cars that are believed to have been stolen.

The vehicles, which were registered in the last two years and 2004 are believed to have been stolen from counties Kildare, Dublin and Wicklow.

They have since been removed for a technical examination.

Three men, aged 30, 20 and 46 were arrested at the scene and are being questioned at Balbriggan and Ballymun garda stations.

Gardaí say the operation is ongoing.
