Crash involving four cars and van blocks M1

A multi-vehicle crash on the M1 is causing headaches for Dublin motorists this morning.

The collision involving four cars and a van happened in the right hand lane on the southbound side of the motorway, just after the Lissenhall exit.

It is blocking that lane and onlookers in the other lane are also causing delays.

Gardaí are asking people to leave the road at Lissenhall and divert onto the old airport road to minimise delays while they clear the scene.
