Green Luas line opens

The 7.5km extension to the Green Luas line in Dublin is now fully operational.

The line, to Cherrywood, is expected to add over two million passengers a year to the Luas network.

It cost just under €300m.

To mark the opening, passengers on the new route can travel free today.
