A total of 35 loans related to Irish-based hotels have been taken over by the National Assets Management Agency (Nama), it was announced today.

Tourism Minister Mary Hanafin told the Dáil today that she has met Nama for discussions about the sector, but not in relation to any individual loan or borrower.
