€500k worth of illegal medicines seized

Some €500,000 worth of illegal medicines have been seized in an operation involving the Irish Medicines Board, customs officers and gardaí.

In all 262, 000 tablets and capsules were recovered and five websites were shut down in the Interpol led investigation.
