Teenage girls are less aware of the risks of sexually transmitted diseases, than they are about the affect of alcohol and drugs on sexual behaviour.

Half the girls surveyed for the HSE Crisis Pregnancy Programme had not had sex, but of those who had, a quarter did not use contraception on the most recent occasion.
