ESRI urges Government to introduce new 'universal social charge'

The Government is today being urged to introduce a new 7.5% 'universal social charge' to replace existing health, PRSI, and income levies.

The recommendation is being made at a special pre-Budget conference hosted by the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) today.
