Tyrone: Not known how man sustained head injuries

A man is a serious condition in hospital in the North after being found in a garden with major head injuries.

The 31-year-old was discovered outside a house in Coalisland, Co Tyrone around 10pm last night.

Police say it is not clear how he was injured, nor whether he was the victim of a crime.

He was rushed from the property at Canal Meadows to hospital.

Police are appealing for information.
