SIPTU: Aer Lingus redundancy deal 'legal'
SIPTU insists the redundancy deal agreed with Aer Lingus in 2008 was legal and was negotiated with the assistance of the Labour Relations Commission.
Earlier, The Tánaiste Mary Coughlan said the tax implications for 715 Aer Lingus staff who were made redundant and then rehired have not yet been clarified by the Revenue Commissioners.
