Group slams prospective child benefit cuts on higher earners

The advocacy group Social Justice Ireland has hit out at Government suggestions that child benefit may be cut for higher earners in the Budget.

The group, which launched its pre-Budget submission today, said removing the payment from higher earners would be one of the most retrograde steps a Government could take.
