A 48-year-old Limerick man who had been fighting for life in hospital since being assaulted yesterday has died.

A 48-year-old Limerick man who had been fighting for life in hospital since being assaulted yesterday has died.

Joe O'Donnell, from Hyde Road, was found unconscious at his home yesterday afternoon.
