Gardaí investigate Limerick shooting

A man is being treated in hospital in Limerick after been shot overnight.

It is believed the man was shot while in the St Mary's Park area of the city at around 12.45am this morning.

Gardaí at Mayorstone and Henry Street are appealing for information.

The man's condition in hospital is unkown.
