Woman killed in Leitrim crash

A woman has been killed in a crash in Leitrim.

The 25-year-old woman died when the car she was driving crashed at Dromad at around 10pm yesterday. She was on her own in the car at the time.

The woman's body was taken to Sligo General Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out today.

The road at the scene remains closed pending a forensic examination.
