Three arrested in Eamon Dunne shooting probe

Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of criminal gang leader Eamon Dunne in Dublin have arrested two men and a woman.

Armed robber and drug trafficker Dunne (33) was shot on April 24 at the Fassaugh House pub, Cabra.

Gardaí this morning carried out a search-and-arrest operation in Blanchardstown in Dublin and in Bettystown, Co Meath.

Two men and a woman, all in their late 20s, have been arrested in connection with the investigation.

One man was arrested in Blanchardstown while the other man and woman were arrested in Dublin city centre.

Two handguns and a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 were seized.

Dunne, from Dunsoghly Drive, Ratoath Road in Finglas in west Dublin, was socialising in the Fassaugh House pub at Fassaugh Avenue in Cabra when he was hit.
