Gardaí in Dublin are renewing their appeal for information about the fatal shooting of a man in the capital last weekend.

Forty-year-old Sean Winters was shot last Sunday night near Portmarnock Dart Station.

The incident happened between 9.45pm and 10.20pm.

Gardaí believe that a taxi or taxis may have been in the area at the time and they are appealing to anyone with any information to contact them.

Ten people - seven men and three women - who were questioned by gardaí in relation to the shooting were later released.
