Man appears in court in connection with shooting

A man has been brought before the courts in connection with a gun attack in Dublin yesterday.

A 30-year-old man was injured but not seriously when a shot was fired at him at about midnight on Bluebell Avenue in Kilmainham.

Jason Gaynor from 78 Bluebell Road, Bluebell, Dublin 12 was brought before Dublin District Court this evening charged with possession of a double barelled sawn off shotgun and two twelve gauge cartridges.

He was remanded in custody and will be brought before the court again on September 23.
