Pensioner robbed in his home

A pensioner was robbed in his home by youths who held him down in a chair while they searched his pockets for valuables, police said today.

The two thieves entered the 79-year-old man’s house in the Clanrye Park area of Newry, Co Down, after 10 pm last night while their victim was sitting in his living room.
