Three killed on roads this weekend
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a crash in Cork this morning in which a man in his 20s died.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who witnessed the single-vehicle collision at 6.30am at Greenroom outside Macroom to contact them.
The man was killed when the car he was travelling in crashed into a wall. The driver and front-seat passenger were also injured in the crash and are being treated in hospital.
It brings to three the number of people killed on the roads this weekend.
Yesterday, a 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Co Carlow, and a woman in her 60s died in a head-on collision in Co Sligo.
