Fire breaks out at Dublin's Berkeley Hotel

A number of people have been taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation following a fire at the D4 Berkeley Hotel in Ballsbridge this morning.

The fire broke out at 6am on the seventh floor of the building. Six units of Dublin Fire Brigade brought the blaze under control.

The hotel was evacuated and no other injuries were reported.
