Deputy Chris Andrews has said Ireland should recognise the contribution citizens make to the arts, sports and business.

In recent years a number of Irish citizens - including Liam Neeson, Terry Wogan and Bob Geldolf - have all been recognised by the UK for their work by being granted OBEs.
