New Bill could introduce investigations into judges

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has published the Judicial Council Bill 2010 today.

It allows for the investigation of judicial misconduct and will establish a council to promote a high standard of conduct among judges, ensure their continued education and make efficient use of their resources.
