Teen killed in Carlow crash
A 17-year-old man has died in a road accident in Co Carlow.
The teenager died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N9 at Bagnalstown, Co Carlow, at around 6.25am this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, also a 17 year old, was taken to St Lukes Hospital in Kilkenny, with minor injuries.
Gardaà in Carlow are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at 059-913 6620.
The death is the second fatality on the roads this morning.
A man in his 50s died this morning after his car veered off the road and hit a wall in Leecarrow, Co Roscommon at around 6am.
