Man in hospital after explosion at house in Donegal

A man has been taken to hospital following an overnight explosion at a house in Co Donegal.

Emergency services received a call to the Cloonbara area of Falcarragh around 10pm last night.

It is suspected that gas may have been the cause of the blast, however Gardaí are to carry out a forensic examination this morning.

The man was initially taken to Letterkenny General Hospital but has since been transferred to a Dublin Hospital.
