HSE plans home help cuts in West

The HSE has revealed plans to cut 10% of home help hours and well as a proposal to cut the jobs of 300 contract workers across the HSE West region.

They also plan to reduce the working hours of hundreds of contract staff, a move which, according to union officials, would achieve the equivalent of 1,000 job losses.
