Man appears in court in connection with Derry bomb
A 42-year-old man has appeared in court in the North charged in connection with a dissident republican car bomb attack on a police station in Derry.
It follows the attack on August 3, when a taxi driver was forced to transport a bomb in his cab to the Strand Road PSNI station.
Philip O'Donnell from Balderick Crescent in Derry was charged on 12 counts, including causing the explosion, hijacking and false imprisonment.
He was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear before the court again next month.
