Car accident in Waterford claims one life

A 79-year-old man has died in hospital this evening after crashing his car in Co. Waterford.

The accident occurred shortly before 10am this morning, at Castlereagh in Ballymacarberry.

The man was seriously injured and was brought to South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel, where he lost his fight for life tonight.
