Dempsey to travel on new commuter rail line

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey will today become one of the first passengers on board the new Dunboyne M3 rail line.

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey will today become one of the first passengers on board the new Dunboyne M3 rail line.

Minister Dempsey will travel on one of the first test trains on the commuter route, which is due to open to the general public next month.

The 7.5 kilometre track runs from Clonsilla to M3 Parkway and will cater for the communities in Dunboyne and the wider Meath area.
