Aer Lingus criticises union move to ballot cabin crew

Aer Lingus says it is disappointed at IMPACT's decision to ballot cabin crew on strike action.

The union is opposed to an increase in the number flying hours for members - the proposed action would initially be a work-to-rule but a withdrawal of labour is not being ruled out.
