Gardaí renew appeal for information on Dublin shooting

Gardaí in Dublin are renewing their appeal for information about a car that was used in a shooting incident in Fairview earlier this week.

Three men were injured in the attack which happened in the early hours of Monday morning at the Players Lounge - two of them are still in a critical condition in hospital.

One line of inquiry being followed is that the shooting is linked to tension over the control of the security business in the capital.

In particular, Gardaí are anxious to speak to anyone who saw a beige or gold coloured Volkswagon Golf in the area bearing the false registration place - 05 D 57078.
