Jail term for man who admits raping his daughters

A Dublin man who pleaded guilty to raping and sexually assaulting his daughters has been given a 12-year sentence at the Central Criminal Court with the final three years suspended.

The 47-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to 13 sample counts of rape and sexual assault against the girls at a house in Dublin on dates between January 2003 and February 2007.
