The National Treasury Management Agency is hoping investors will lend the Government up to €1.5bn in a bond auction today.

The agency has said it does not expect the auction to suffer a negative impact from the decision by ratings agency Moody's to downgrade Ireland's credit rating from Aa1 to Aa2.
