PAC to publish key bank guarantee documents

The Dáil Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is to publish key documents on the Government's decision to guarantee the country's banks in September 2008.

It follows a meeting in private session this morning with the Secretary General of the Department of Finance.

The Committee is also calling a special public meeting next Thursday to ascertain how the Department assembled the key facts that led to the guarantee.
