No jail term for man who repeatedly abused young nephews

A man who indecently assaulted two of his nephews over a 10-year period nearly 40 years ago has been given a three-year and nine months suspended sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court today.

A man who indecently assaulted two of his nephews over a 10-year period nearly 40 years ago has been given a three-year and nine months suspended sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court today.

The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, committed the offences on the then six-year-old and ten-year-old boys when he was aged between 13 and 15 years of age and between 20 and 24 years of age.
