Wages in Ireland must fall further, IMF warns

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has today warned that wages will have to fall further over the next two years to support Ireland's economic recovery.

In its latest assessment of Ireland, the IMF says some of the jobs lost during the recession will never be regained.
