Hiqa considers extending inspections of children's care homes

The country's healthcare watchdog has refused to rule out conducting overnight inspections at care homes for kids.

A report commissioned by the Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa) has found that children in care do not think inspectors are giving them enough time when they visit.
