Minister O'Keeffe in the dark about possible loss of 4,000 jobs

Enterprise Minister Batt O'Keeffe said today that he is very concerned by reports that up to 4,000 jobs could be lost in eircom and the country's two main banks.

Eircom is looking at 2,000 job cuts while Bank of Ireland and AIB are considering axing 1,000 each.
