The trial of a Dublin man charged with the rape of a homeless teenager nearly two years ago has collapsed at the Central Criminal Court.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had pleaded not guilty to raping the then 19-year-old woman at a Dublin address on October 13, 2008.
