Green Party leader John Gormley said today that he does not think any "lasting damage" has been done to the Coalition by the controversy surrounding the Government's Wildlife Bill.

The leglislation was passed in the Dáil last night, but resulted in the expulsion of Fianna Fáil TD Mattie McGrath from the parliamentary party.
